Quality, diversity and lesson learning in international education.

An introduction to the journal is presented in which the editor discuss various reports within the issue including one on education quality focusing on large-scale assessment exercises, one on the quality of education in the Middle East and North Africa, and one on teacher education and low fee private schools.
