Abstract
- The article presents a debate between librarians Lauren Jessop and Terra Plato regarding the collection of fines to small library patrons for not returning items on time in Canada. According to Jessop, fines should be collected to patrons to encourage them to return borrowed items from the library. Plato says that collection of fines may discourage patrons to visit again libraries.
