Abstract

The article explores whether the Big Five Personality factors affect people's online knowledge sharing behaviors. Data used in the study was gathered from 255 students from two Malaysian universities. Results of the study provided support to the hypothesis that extraversion and neuroticism have positive relationships with knowledge sharing attitudes. Openness to experience was found to be inversely related to knowledge sharing attitudes, while subjective norm was found to be positively related.
