Abstract
- The article discusses the victory of golfer Lucas Glover in the Wells Fargo Championship, a PGA Tour golf tournament near Charlotte, North Carolina. Glover's victory over Jonathan Byrd in a playoff is considered in terms of the two men's friendship formed as college golfers for Clemson University. It is noted this was Glover's first victory since the 2009 U.S. Open, and that he had been golfing poorly prior to the tournament.
