Abstract
- The article presents a case study on the removal of the cherry eye, a protrusion of the hypertrophied glands of the nictitating membrane, of the dog in India. The Diazepam-Ketamine, and normal saline were used in the surgery of the cherry eye. The hemmorrhage after excision, cauterization, the post operative bleeding were some of the techniques used in the operation.
