Abstract
- The article focuses on the recent developments related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) that will affect the use and management of public trails. It says the new ADA Rule is on the use of Other Power-Driven Mobility Devices (OPDMDs) in public trails and facilities, while the Advance Notice of Proposed Rule-making (ANPRM) is on shared-use paths. Furthermore, it mentions several questions compiled by the National Center for Accessibility (NCA) posed in the ANPRM.
