Closed-Form Expression for the Net Ground Plane Inductance of Coplanar Stripline PCBs.

The net ground plane inductance of printed circuit boards is the source of common-mode radiated emissions. Correct determination of the net ground plane inductance provides a quick estimation of the radiated emissions from printed circuit boards. Employing conformal mapping technique, this paper gives a closed-form expression for the per unit length net ground plane inductance of coplanar stripline printed circuit boards with finite ground plane width.
