FORUM SELECTION CLAUSE SURVEY 2009-2010.

The article presents the Forum Selection Clause Survey 2009-2010 of the "Tulane Maritime Law Journal" published by students of the Tulane University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana. It relays that the survey compiles and organizes case decisions handed down by federal circuit courts in the U.S. including the Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. It summarizes cases which were related to the implementation of forum selection clauses (FSC) in maritime contracts such as bills of lading and charterparties. It provides five categories in each case summary including FSC type, case summary, and citation. It relays that the survey extracted and summarized relevant information that will benefit practitioner in maritime law.
