Abstract
- The author discusses library users, particularly college students, who conduct research using the Internet search engine Google before using their university's library. The symposium "The Future of the Academic Library" at the 2010 "School Library Journal" (SLJ) Leadership Summit at McMaster University is discussed in terms of what students said about their information-seeking behavior. Other topics include electronic books and the report "How College Students Evaluate and Use Information in the Digital Age," by the University of Washington.
