Abstract
- The article reports on the latest developments in the nuclear industry as of May 2011. It cites the increasing interest shown at the so called small modular reactors (SMRs) due to the latest nuclear power crisis in Japan that led to questions on public safety of nuclear power. The opinions of U.S. Republican senator Lindsey Graham and U.S. Energy secretary Steven Chu on the SMRs are also cited.
