Abstract
- The article focuses on an investigation into allegations of data duplication in six papers for which Ralf Paus is corresponding or senior author being conducted by the University of Lübeck in Germany. Paus expresses confidence that the investigation will show scientific proof for the similarities between figures. It recalls that a separate investigation by the Research Centre Borstel in 2010 concluded that research misconduct has occurred in the laboratory of Paus' wife, Silvia Bulfone-Paus, resulting to a retraction of 12 of her papers.
