Abstract
- The article compares three 2011 high-spec pony cars with their glory days ancestors. These include a 2011 Camaro SS against the 1969 Camaro SS396, a 2011 Challenger SRT8 against the 1970 Challenger, and a 2011 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 against the 1969 version. The cars were compared based on base price, price as tested, vehicle layout, engine, transmission, curb weight, wheelbase, quarter mile and braking.
