Abstract

The article focuses on the changes in human character and its landscape within the city. It says that the changes are the aggregate assertion in the 1923 essay of Virginia Woolf on the relations between "Mr. Bennett and Mrs. Brown" and insistence of Henri Lefebvre. It discusses Lefebvre's claims on shattering space and use of the word claim to describe his spatial project. Moreover, Woolf's essays explore the overwhelming impression of Mrs. Brown's character.
