- Examines the effect of irrelevant information on subjects' utilization of an event base rate in a nonmetric probability learning environment. Presence of lower subjects' utilization of moderate event base rate; Absence of the effect of irrelevant information on subjects' utilization; Contradictory of the effect to the prediction of Castellan-Edgell model.
