The article examines the increasing feeling of alienation by evangelical Christians in the U.S. Pew Forum surveys found that evangelicals view themselves as the second most-discriminated-against group behind the Muslims and that evangelical leaders see that non-Christians are unfriendly towards them. Several reasons for evangelicals' views that they are disliked by non-Christians and non-evangelicals are cited.
