Abstract
- A peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) provides an important access for patients requiring prolonged intravenous infusion. However, intravascular migration and subsequent malposition of a PICC may be caused by its flexibility and thinness and by changes in intrathoracic pressure and body position. In this report, we describe one case of persistent hiccup whose PICC migrated to and was bent and folded in the right subclavian vein. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
