Commentaries on Pedersen (2011): DOES CANNABIS CAUSE POVERTY TOO? MOVING BEYOND THE MALEVOLENCE PARADIGM.

In this article the author discusses the study of Willy Pedersen regarding the association of cannabis use with poverty of the Norwegian young people. He states that the longitudinal, prospective data, and careful testing of Pedersen for the possible confounders as well as his findings of a dose-related relationship provide confidence in his correlation. He mentions that Pedersen claimed his study has added to the present harmful social consequences of cannabis use.
