Abstract
- The article examines the forced sale of Stansted Airport in London, England, by the airport operator BAA. There are concerns that BAA will not be able to secure a good price for the airport due to the economic situation in Great Britain, the relationship between the airport and its dominant airline, Ryanair, and the inability to construct new runways. The investment program at Gatwick Airport, owned by Global Infrastructure Partners, is discussed.
