Abstract

The article offers information on the study conducted by the authors related to VO2 performance and kinetics in soccer players after inactivity and intense training. It states that 17 players from the Danish second division and one from first division who were not on any medication participated in the research. It mentions that after the last match they were either assigned to training cessation group or high-intensity training group for two weeks. It highlights that they completed running protocol on a motorized treadmill in which running speed was increased until exhaustion. It reports that the kinetics were unaffected in the group which underwent training.
