Abstract
- The article presents a speech by U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein delivered on the Senate floor in a debate over amendments to the Economic Development Revitalization Act on June 15, 2011 in which she discussed the policy of the U.S. government towards ethanol subsidies, the growth of corn for the ethanol industry, the costs of U.S. government support of the industry, and protective tariffs on ethanol.
