Describes micromagnetic simulations that examine the effect of intergranular exchange on thermal stability of dibit transitions in magnetic recording. Information on the macromagnetic simulation models used; Comparison on the varying magnetic orientation ratios, thermal decays of dibit patterns; Evaluation on the thermal decays of dibit and square wave patterns in perpendicular media.
