Abstract

In this article, the authors examines a study by X. Zhuang and colleagues which describes the use of exosomes to deliver anti-inflammatory drugs to the brain through a noninvasive intranasal route. The authors state that the study demonstrates an association between exosomes and curcumin following coincubation. They note that the study need further validation of the potential of exosomes as drug delivery vehicles.
