Abstract

The article offers information on the diagnosis and management of various types of conjunctivitis. It mentions that pharyngoconjunctival fever (PCF) occurs on patients with viral conjunctivitis. It states that the standard of care for viral conjunctivitis is topical ganciclovir. It states that ulceration of the eyelid, watery discharge, and vesicular rash are signs of herpetic conjunctivitis. It argues that clinicians need to accurately differentiate the types of conjunctivitis for treatment.
