- The article presents information on the J.K. Spruce 2, Calaveras Power Station, located in San Antonio, Texas. It is owned and operated by CPS Energy, and is stated to be the cleanest coal-fired plants in the U.S. A discussion on CPS Energy's Strategic Energy Plan, plant's construction, equipment, operations and work processes, is presented.
