Abstract

The article presents a study on the risk of cigarette smoking among women with coronary heart disease other than men. It estimates the effects of smoking through a systematic review and meta-analysis of prospective cohort studies from 1996 up to 2010. Data were collected by measure of relative risk (RR) and associated variability from both sexes. Using a random effects model with inverse variance weighting and estimated RR ratios, data have been gathered in uncovering risks in different sexes.
