Addressing Traffic and Channel Power Distributions in 3G Networks.

The article reports on the white paper from ISCO International Inc. which discusses the statistical distributions of traffic and interference in 3G networks. The white paper determines how poor correlation between measured traffic and uplink channel power can be used to assess interference severity. It is concluded that the application of a more network-centric approach represents a more proactive approach to interference management.
