Abstract
- The article features The Archaeological Conservancy (TAC), which is a national private nonprofit group that is responsible in the permanent protection of the major archaeological sites in the U.S. The group's Midwest office, which covers 11 states including Illinois, is headed by regional director Paul Gardner, with field representative Josh McConaughy. The projects of TAC in Illinois, include the purchase of the Albany Mounds site.
