BYOD as the Catalyst to Transform Classroom Culture.

In this article the authors discuss issues associated with the use of computers in education and argue that reforms to pedagogical approaches are necessary in order to enable students and teachers to use technology in an effective and collaborative manner. They comment on the tendency for many teachers to use computers as a substitute for pen and paper in direct instruction models and also explore concerns regarding school district policies requiring students to provide their own mobile learning devices.
