Abstract

In this article the author discusses the concept of unlearning and examines how it applies to teachers and their methods in using technology in the classroom. He focuses on ideas presented in the book "Now You See It: How the Brain Science of Attention Will Transform the Way We Live, Work, and Learn" by Cathy Davidson and argues that traditional educational models, and U.S. federal education policy, should implement reforms that address assessments, curriculum planning, and teacher roles.
