Abstract
- The article offers information on a study conducted by the authors related to electrically induced contraction of the quadriceps femoris in men. It states that 18 healthy men with mean age of 24.9 years participated in the study in which they were exposed to fatiguing volitional quadriceps contraction and one of the three patterns of alternating current. It highlights that there was not significant difference in contraction durations or fatigue indexes of muscles before electrical stimulation.
