Development and Validation of an Improved, COPD-Specific Version of the St. George Respiratory Questionnaire.

The article presents information on a study which tries to develop an improved version of the St. George respiratory questionnaire (SGRQ-C) for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients. The responses of 893 COPD patients to the St. George respiratory questionnaire (SGRQ) were recorded and Rasch analysis was performed to remove weaker items. A previously published trial was also used to test the responsiveness.
