Direct selling route pays.

The author relates developments at his family's livestock farm in North Charlton, Alnwick, Northumberland, England in September 2011. More than 1,000 ewe lambs were sold directly from the farm. He expects the farm to generate profit since they were able to establish excellent green crops and started buying-in store lambs. He adds that the straw-baling activity at the farm has been completed.
