Abstract
- The article offers information on the role of multicore system-on-a-chip (SoC) in emulators. It states that there are three waves of multicore including packet processing, in smart phone and symmetric multiprocessing (SMP). It further informs about the third way, SMP, which is complex and make emulation necessary for single-core systems.
