Abstract

The article suggests exercises with heart-protecting benefits. Studies have shown that interval training, which is alternating between high- and moderate-intensity bursts of activity, can increase the heart benefits that one gained from moderate cardio sessions. Strength muscle training is also suggested to help remove glucose and triglycerides from the bloodstream. Also noted is the beneficial effect of stretching on the heart.
