Abstract
- The author reflect on the safety requirements in nuclear power plants in France. The author states that upgrading nuclear safety regulation is being opposed by some nuclear industries. The author cites the Fukushima nuclear power plant accident occurred in Japan in March 2011 as well as the report from the Nuclear Safety Authority regarding the sweeping of safety regulations.
