Abstract

The article focuses on heat recovery and the utilization of waste heat. It states in 2008 researchers estimated that up to 60 percent of energy consumed in the U.S. is dissipated as waste heat and mentions server farms and data centers as examples. It comments on heat recovery systems from Megtec Systems Inc. that utilizes heated air from ovens, air pollution control systems, and process dryers. It talks about the importance of clean air flow in heat recovery and problems with humid air.
