Abstract: The article reports on the performance of the Fellside Farm that manages 135 Beaconside cowherds of Holsteins pedigree in Bleasdale, England. Farmer Anthony Bretherton announced that the farm experienced an increase in milk production by 900 liters due to a huge increase in silage dry matter intakes. Moreover, the farm was able to reduce feed costs by 30 British pounds. Information on the silage analysis of the farm is provided.
