Abstract: The article focuses on a study which describes the results for the alkylation of o-cresol by polyprenols isolated from cotton leaves and containing 10 12 isoprene units. The alkylation of cresol by polyprenols was implemented according to the method developed for alkylation of phenol by geraniol in the presence of aluminum alkoxides. It investigates the alkylation of o-cresol by polyprenols in the presence of aluminum cresolate.
