Abstract
- In this article, the authors comment on the study by J. W. Conrad and R. A. Becker titled "Enhancing Credibility of Chemical Safety Studies: Emerging Consensus on Key Assessment Criteria" in which they emphasized that there is need to address the problem of conflict of interest in the science underlying the regulation of chemicals used in commerce. The authors are of the view that no evidence was presented by them to support the capacity of a "credibility score" to reduce industry funding bias.
