Abstract

The article reviews the production of two- and three-dimensional (2D/3D) wireless sensor modules on paper or liquid crystal polymer (LCP) substrates using inkjet printers and nanosilver ink technology. An overview is provided of printed wireless module fabrication, including antennas, carbon nanotube sensors, and power scavengers. The possible applications for these printed modules include power sources for radio frequency identification (RFID) and wireless sensor networks.
