Abstract
- The article presents information on conservation easements in land which restricts the ability of landowners in using their land in permissible way for yielding benefits. The eminent domain proceedings and the enforceability of exacted conservation easements in California are discussed. It mentions the related legislative history, statutes and case law. It also offers suggestions for improving exaction of conservation easements.
