Abstract: The article offers news briefs on orthopaedic societies in the U.S. The American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) is accepting abstract submissions for paper presentations for the 67th Meeting of ASSH in Chicago, Illinois on September 6-8, 2012. The Orthopaedic Research Education Foundation (OREF) is inviting spine surgeons for the prospective clinical research grants in spine care. The advance registration for the 2012 meeting of Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) is open.
