ATMs Fall Short On Disability Rule.

The article considers the March 15, 2012 deadline for operators of automated teller machines (ATM) to make those machines accessible to blind and visually impaired persons as required by the U.S. Americans With Disabilities Act. Estimates by banks and financial analysts that half or more of the roughly 400,000 ATMs in the U.S. will not be in compliance on that date are discussed.
