Abstract
- Presents a study concerning the population-based information, relating to trends and outpatient mastectomy among elderly women, while focusing on the numerous legislative proposals to mandate a minimum hospital stay following mastectomy. Examination of the medicare data for elderly women with fee-for-service coverage; How logistic regression was used; How the outpatient mastectomies were more likely performed.
