Abstract

The educational electronic resources are increasingly present in the current learning processes. The development of Internet and the evolution of the communication and information tools have transformed the educational panorama conforming new spaces with new functionalities and educational methodologies. All of them take the virtuality and the digital factor as a common denominator. Therefore, for the educational community there appears as an unavoidable need the establishment of a set of clear and relevant criteria of evaluation that allow to determine the quality of these educational electronic resources, and to guarantee the excellence of the learning processes. This article proposes a model of criteria for the evaluation of the quality of these resources, based on a complete review of the different perspectives of evaluation across the scientific literature, as well as of the critical analysis of some of the tools used to value these resources in different educative areas. The result has been the design of the online tool EVALUAREED, based on a mixed methodology, which combines the expert's judgment and the automated analysis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
