The article reports policy and public affairs issues related to the British Association for Counseling and Psychotherapy (BACP). BACP has welcomed the consultation paper by the Welsh government on the Schools Standards and Organization (Wales) Bill. A new BACP-endorsed clinical guidance on quality standards and measures on "Service Users Experience in Adult Mental Health" has been published by National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). BACP's work in Parliament is included.
