IEC-61850-Based Control System for Power Distribution at ITER.

This paper outlines the process and procedures adopted to design the architecture and functional requirements of instrumentation and control (I&C) based on IEC 61850 standards. The I&C system of the electrical power distribution network will conform to the standards, specifications, and interfaces as set down by the ITER Organization and applied by suppliers in domestic agencies.
