In his film "It's a free world…", director Ken Loach deals with the problem of the exploitation of immigrants. He des-cribes that dark zone in Western prosperous societies, whose wealth is based in a great degree in the exploitation of immigrants. The movie exposes situations of increasing dehumanization in the work environment, which affect im-migrant workers, but also their exploiters. This paper analy-ses the content and mise en scène of the film, from the view-point of Christian anthropology and social ethics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
