Abstract
- The article reports on the victory of Boeing Co./Northrop Grumman Corp. team in grabbing the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program contract with the help of aggressive pricing and low margins. According to one missile defense official, Boeing's figures for the new GMD development and sustainment contract are 35% lower than what MDA is paying today for this defense system.
