Abstract
- The article focuses on the Occupy Wall Street movement and its role in advocating economic justice and opposing corporate greed. The movement, which expanded globally as the Occupy movement, started at the Zuccotti Park in New York City, New York, where they created and promoted a slogan in inequality called "We Are the 99 Percent." The Hill and Gallup polls showed that American respondents agreed to the issues addressed by the movement, where most of the respondents believed that inequality and corporate intervention in U.S. politics have weakened the U.S. economy.
